proms.. pfft... what a waste of time.

They tried organising one at our school but they had 100 girls and 2 lads so they cancelled it.

Just get down the pub!

Yep, because something as trivial as a school dance is worth getting all pissed off over. If prom's are done RIGHT, they are a lot of fun, I know, I have been to a few (not my own, they didn't have one in Oldham when I graduated). It is not about being American, it is about having fun!!! Life doesn't always have to revolve around going down the pub. There is a whole world out there full of other things.
 
You're far too sensible, take things to the extreme!

Why go to a prom when everyone can have a great time at a nightclub, without teachers.... and with booze!

Life doesn't revolve around the pub if you don't drink ;)
 
oh god, I HAVE to stop posting when I wake up, I couldn't care less about proms go if you want you will probably have fun.

I really am a grumpy so and so in the mornings...

My school had a leavers meal, wasn't a prom. Was a meal in Kirkby suites (chico and chris will know it) then we all went for a piss up in town.

My graduation ball now that was an evening and a half. We had Leo Sayer as the headline act and Carl Cox DJ'ing. I was filthy with some bird in a portaloo and later with some other girl on a bumper car. Those were the days.........
