The Rain....

monsoon rain/ tropical rain beats our stuff hands down, i have personally used it as a shower when in the gili islands off malaysia(y)
west coast of nz (south island) is worst i've seen.

Monsoon must take some beating in fairness.

The worst Ive seen is when Ive been on the edges on a hurricane, miles away like but still rammed it down. Flooding all over the show.

monsoon on the rim of a volcano in bali, it wasnt even coming down in drops they were like individual fairy liquid bottles being squeezed to death above your bonce, but today was bouncing about 6 inches and same effect........you get p1ss wet through
luckily i "aquired" a nice waterproof jacket when i went to brann away, someone left it on a seat and boarded a flight, i scooped and boarded mine, t3 protection which is the full on survival gear, the zips have this rubber seam that covers them and the pockets are fully watertight, to protect my baccy and phone.

I used to hate the rain. Till i got a car.

try a 4wd ......its like splashing about in your wellies when you were a kid!!!
little b.o.g. was splashing about in a big puddle in his at a caravan rally last year and who should run out and join him saying he couldnt resist.......non other than david bellamy !!! gwapple me gwapenuts.

I had been in Hawaii for about 3 months and we got rain SO BAD that I had to park the car about a mile away from work and wade in (and it was a Forester!!). A guy I worked with hydrolocked his (brand new!!!)M3 trying to drive through about 4 feet of water.

When rain is coming at you from below, thats when you know you've got it sorted (y)

I have had my fair bit of fun in horrible rain in my WRX and my Forester XT (don't laugh, wicked tires and an STi engine in the thing).

skyline is fun in rain too 360bhp rwd in the wet but in fairness it doesnt need to be wet to get it slidin'
i went to vegas and it rained all week, great tv of the freeways with dudes sliding all over the place, with the wet and all the dust it may as well have been ice.

 However, with the fragile Subaru transmission, dry slidey action isn't the wisest thing to do just using power. The Scandinavian flick is a good way to get a good dry power-slide, but it is a bit tricky to get right on public roads (not that I would ever condone doing it on public roads. Keep the racing on a track (y))

I actually executed a perfect Flick (once!!)on an auto-cross course (they are small and tight, but it was per-fect!!) the year I won my regional class.

try a nice big class 1 HGV in the rain. Massive screen, loads of fun. Not much spray though as that is for the cars to enjoy. Plus, I have done the HGV skid/skid pan training and advanced manoeuvres course's, (HM Forces funded of course). Bloody good fun also to be honest.
