So far this season we're on relegation form, with absolutely no indication that we know or have a way of get out of it. Toughest December in living memory up next - we will almost certainly be adrift in bottom three by Christmas Day.

Will there be three worse teams than us by the end of the season?
Not crossing your palm with silver anytime soon.

We lost to all three newly promoted teams, and at one point it looked like Silva was going nowhere. There was every reason to panic. Short memories
No mate, we’re never getting relegated whilst the likes of Norwich West Ham West Brom’s Stokes Palace Bournemouth Watford Brighton And the rest of the insignificant clubs are in this league! 2/3rds of this league are relegation fodder every season. We are not one of them

No mate, for whatever reason, we go on a bad run ( like nearly every other team does at some point ) and people start wringing out their bed sheets.

It happens nearly every season and is really quite cringey.

Apart from us who obviously are getting pulled into an unwinnable relegation fight any day now it’s looking like Norwich and one of West Ham or Watford for me. On today’s showing Palace could get dragged in much like we have/will be.

No lad no. We were never close to it over a season.
Yeah.
We were.
It closer to certainty than anything.

If you can't see that I can't see how you can really appreciate what's happening now.

Silva's stifled, shackled 4231 was only going one way.
He had no other way of doing things, just kept trying to hammer square pegs into rounds holes.
If you do that the your man mgt is on a soggy wing and desperate prayer.
He was sucking the life out of these players, mind body and spirit.

The players have had the class not to say much but if you read between the lines, its all there.

The fact is, it got down to when, not if, Silva got sacked - to avoid relegation.
Then it was down to who we got - to avoid relegation

Thank god it was Carlo - he's been a blessing.
