Another fantasist, have a look at our last three managerial shortlists, that is people who actually applied and not clickbait fantasy manager links our fans make up or wish for.

Some of our fans need to come back to earth.

Said the same a lot over the last year or so. When we sack Dyche, it would be Moyes/Southgate standard. Even shared our shortlists in the past. We didn't end up with Lampard or Dyche by accident - it was because very few were lining up.

None of that excuses Moyes being here beyond the summer. I don't care how he does over the next 4 months.

But we should be a different proposition all together in the summer.

We need to be looking at better than David Moyes.

Well, Dyche has gone now but West Ham who spent hundreds of millions, with a squad significantly better than ours with players like Bowen, Kudus - earned 4 more points than us last season.

You also look at Moyes record in 19 and 20 games when he tookover a struggling team in West Ham in winter, and it doesn't look good.

Fairplay, but they spent 54m in the first season he was fully in charge, and he got 65 in 38 to get this team 6gh . Similar amount of what Dyche has spent this season.
