I find it a shame that so many don’t care about loyalty. If anyone leaves the club under bad circumstances there’s no coming back for me. Have a bit of pride ffs. That seems the way these days though. I get that. The excitement over Romney’s return after being crap at Utd for 2 or 3 years, Landon Donavon on a legends flag, praying for the return of Richarlison. All after effects of a fan base largely brought up by Kenwright.

We always wondered what Moyes could do if we had money, well we are about to find out.

By all accounts he did a decent job at West Ham and some of their fans even still think it was a mistake sacking him. Utd and Sunderland 2 basket cases of clubs, Sunderland aren't now but they were at the time and I don't think any manager could have got a tune out of them tbh.

Real Sociedad was a massive mistake from both parties.

With us and with limited resources he had us consistently pushing the top 6 and challenging for Europe, a position I imagine the majority of blues would bite your hand off for now. We had solid foundations and an identity, and clearly he still has that good eye for a player he was renowned for with us shown by the signings he made at WHU. If he can establish that again we will be in a much better position to appoint a longer term coach following our move to BMD.

The best appointment for a club in our position is the one who is most suited to getting a tune out of the squad we have in the short term. Someone like Paulo Fonseca who has had a reasonable degree of success around Europe is probably preferable in the long term but our squad is nowhere near suited to playing his brand of football right now and obviously we aren't going to be bringing in a load of players this month for a completely new system halfway through the season whilst we are in a relegation scrap. Some won't like it but Moyes is probably the best appointment we can make atm with all that in mind

Not as bad as this one. Left our club, question marks about his style of play and whether he can keep up with the modern game. It would be a lazy appointment.
We don’t have a squad capable of playing the modern game. We need someone to take what we have, immediately vibe with what we have, and keep us up. Someone to do just a bit better than Dyche. Yes that’s boring, but it’s where we are.
