Those that have voted no, does it soften the blow if Carsley was to come in as his number 2 with a view to him taking on the job in 18 months time? At the very least we’d have a plan in place rather than scatter gun like it’s been for years.

The intertoto cup at the team he said was his home.

That will be his career highlight.

We've got to look forward. Moyes leading us out at Bramley Moore would be desperately disappointing.

We’re absolutely rubbish. They clearly can’t afford to start buying managers who are currently in a contract so who is there?

He “knows the club”, far better manager than Dyche, record at West Ham is better than what we’ve had for a while.

We’re not attracting young exciting managers at this current moment as the jobs massive. I’d give Fonseca the job as that’s the best we could possibly get otherwise it’s Moyes.

Keep us up, a mid table finish or so for a couple of seasons, calls to extend his contract from fans. Constant stability narrative. All too predictable.

How would it be sensible to have a succssion plan with Carsley?

Moyes is sensible but uninspiring....if he comes then we need someone who players will want to play for in the summer.

No.

Because it tells you that these fellas haven't a clue - and have zero ambition for the club. Bill Kenwright is never dead.

This type of appointment would indicate to me that the January window is very scarce and that we were very interested in Potter.
