People comparing Moyes to when he last managed the club, he’s a different animal now. With the hammers he was using 3-4-3 and 4-2-3-1 and showed he can set the team up to be dangerous on the counter and on set pieces. He improved players such as Rice, Bowan and his recruitments been decent aswell with the likes of Paqueta and Aguerd. Plus the fact he got the Hammers as European regulars and winning a cup. He knows us inside and out, thrives on limited budget. He's exactly what we need to steady the ship, move us up the table and who knows with the proper backing where he could take us.

Why do so many people assume there's a long list of available candidates who want to come here and out of all of them we've gone for Moyes?

Isn't the far more likely reality that we have very few options given we are in a mess still, and this is the most practical appointment to improve our chances of survival?

So weird that people are having go at TFG based on a hypothetical scenario we've passed over load of other more "progressive" names.
