Was raging with his antics when he went to Utd. However, taking our current predicament near the relegation zone and lacking significant transfer funds he is the sensible option. Yes we'd all love a headline appointment but realistically it will cost and then we are not particularly attractive. If he gets us up to mid table I'm pretty sure all will be forgiven and forgotten. Fingers crossed.

Agree, I would’ve liked him, but I’m not massively upset by Moyes coming back especially if Southgate was a contender!
May have also been up for Carsley but again, Moyes isn’t exactly slumming it.

I’m not saying we should settle, I’m just saying we have to be realistic.

We're not in position to attract a top manager, so getting someone who is significantly better is the most important thing.

I believe Moyes is a much better manager than Dyche. So I'm not going to argue with this decision.

Is it exciting? No

But do I believe he will improve the team? Yes
And he'll butt heads with a DoF, play crap football, continue our knife to a gunfight mentality, ensure we continue to be an absolute laughing stock in the media and amongst other fans, ensure we continue to be an unattractive proposition and be worshipped by Evertonians as he continues the mediocrity.

We never change. Still run like a 1980s corner shop.

It won’t be on a short term deal. There will be calls for him to stay and prolong yet another monotonous existence.

As long as he keeps moving us up.

There were loads on here rubbishing Nuno when he was linked with us

There’s been loads bigging up every flash in the pan who ultimately ended up fizzling out

Unless we could attract an absolute top tier manager like a Mancini Mourinho Sarri etc. then it becomes a game of risk. You might get the next Pochettino you might also get the next Nathan Jones.

Moyes keeps us up in my opinion, if he moves us on next season into the top half whilst the Freidkins eye up a better manger then great.

There’s no silver bullet here without big investment.
