Not a fan of Moyes but I have to say he really showed something at West Ham. Because we can’t invest much in the team financially, it’s tough to see it going swimmingly, in which case I don’t think TFG will hesitate to pay off the rest of his deal in the summer to get who they want long term, probably someone currently employed. That’s the hope anyway, he keeps us up and we say thanks and bye. If I think of it as short term appointment, I’m decently happy. But far from first choice.

Didn't Moist win a European title just a few years ago? He'd be fine for 6 months with a view to a further 12. It looks like it's definitely him, but he's not a long term option. Carsley has to come into the picture imo.

If he keeps us up, he'll be kept on with some waffle about stability.

You've got to have some hope in football. We've been starved of it for years - dour Davey an his self serving down play expectation at every turn for his own benefit doesn't give us that hope.

I could tolerate Dyche, appreciating the wider context and hoped we had a few more months to tolerate. Moyes appointed for me just prolongs misery.

2025/26 season with a new dawn Everton rebuilt by Moyes....like 2002

He's better, but with a massively better squad at West Ham only won another 3 or 4 points than Dyche last season.
Didn't have a massively better squad when he joined though it was a mess, it was him who built it from the bottom half up to a team who regularly finished in the top half.

It was Moyes who signed Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta ect.

I’m 60/40 no.

Sounds like he thinks he’s too big for Everton at the moment due to our position.

He’s done well with 1 club since leaving Everton. The Charlie big potatoes act he portrays sometimes is a bit off putting.

Thoroughly underwhelmed if it's Moyes. I understand why they'd go for him but it's hardly the new dawn many if us were hoping for.
