Don't want Moyes at all, but, he is far more savvy tactically that Dyche and has a pretty good eye for a player. I think he's very much a short term appointment here, if he comes. Contract length means very little these days, if these Yanks identify the man theywant and they find that he is available in the summer, I don't think they have would baulk at paying Moyes off. He may be a good shout to replace Dan Purdy in recruitment longer term.

4-2-3-1 came with Mourinho, Moyes found the Pienaar+Baines lifehack mate.

The season we got 4th we were 4-4-2 for a whole season.

It’s almost like he coached them to play together. I wonder if Dyche would’ve stumbled upon such a life hack or whether he would’ve had them combining on the edge of their own penalty area to clear it out of play.

It was still nothing like Dycheball. Yes we had an inferiority complex but we did used to go these places and have shots at goal, and even god forbid, used to score occasionally. Here you go.

Not comparable to Sean Dyche cowering on the edge of the box and praying Pickford has the game of his life I’m afraid. Under Dyche we had an inferiority complex against bloody Bournemouth never mind the top 4.

You've picked out the notable ones there. But the majority of them were exactly like Dyche ball.

I just want someone that will keep us in the Premier League for the time being and then we’ll go from there.
Yeah agreed there, whoever it is, but it's still worrying that we're giving the dinosaur essentially a long-term contract ffs. Would be glad to be wrong and this is his redemption arc but it's disappointing in a few ways tbh.

Oh yeah definitely did and that's why I'm saying he found it - he did, it worked, they clearly worked on it, they were a proper well oiled machine.

Prime Pienaar and Baines in a Dyche team are hoofing to no one in particular with no idea to go forward, guy won't know a good attack if his life depended on it.
