They were a team that were difficult to beat, but weak going forward. Drawing not losing games was the problem. The team hadn’t downed tools. Better shape than most managers have to deal with coming in to relegation worries.I could certainly argue about whether 1 point off the relegation zone in mid January is good shape.
Wasn't a problem for Dyche - he set up the team to play for a draw at most, and got mostly draws. The problem is he wasn't, never was, and never will be a winner in the Premier League.
