I think we need to be clear on the site and the forum. The site is very good, well designed and has potential. Apart from the editors over cynical attitude its good.

The forum was [Poor language removed] because of one person, but the main site was and still is the best around for news. Easy to read, just needs to be managed better.
 
i love this site but i really dont like the forum software !! IPB is easily the best and easy manageable !!
 
Vanilla looks better though. I know the guy who wrote IPB, health fanatic.

I think IPB just reminds me of a "designed by a developer" style. Too corporate, too windows and too Bill Gates. uggh!!!
 
TW the site (not the forum) is well-thought out (although they have quite a few legacy site architecture problems). But for me they have lost the plot over there with their spin - and that includes Lyndon lately.

Everything is turned in a Daily Mail-type way against the club, every decision is whinged about until it is made and then it is wrong or too much or taken too late. Bunch of tossers post on the Mailbag there and are supported by the editors' comments and, to be honest, if they were to come here, I would stop visiting here like I have there.

Woah you certainly don't pull any punches do you atrottel, I pretty much feel the same way as you about toffeeweb up until recently It was my only source of information on the blues. Now GOT.com is pretty much the only site worth checking because hardly anyone is whinging in here and its nice to see.
 

The TW mailbag was nothing but a bunch of negative nancys. I quit reading it after awhile as those "supporters" really didn't have much of a clue.

And Ghost, I think that if it wasn't for how the TW forum was handled, it was a good place for discussion. Too bad that some things overshadowed the whole point of the forum.
