He's done alright, he's got a string of production credits as long as your arm (weird saying, that, ain't it?) and a net worth of about £5million. He still performs with Will Smith. And will anyone spare a thought for DJ Jazzy Jeff from his Fresh Prince years, FFS?! Poor bloke hasn’t worked in like 3 decades and must be broke and homeless by now…
Heaven knows you’re miserable nowIn the name of decency the thread should now be hijacked and turned into a Morrissey thread.
Not sure there's anything decent about Morrissey these days.In the name of decency the thread should now be hijacked and turned into a Morrissey thread.
It's all cosplay with Morrissey. Not sure there's anything decent about Morrissey these days.
Even the pro-Israel songs? It's all cosplay with Morrissey.
Just listen to the music and ignore what he says.
Even the pro-Israel songs?
I dont mind a bit of The Smiths, Morrissey wrote some good lyrics back when, and its worth it just for Johnny Marr's guitar playing if nothing else. Morrissey's voice always ends up grating on me after more than a few songs though, and I've always found him to be an insufferable prick.Forget that one. I like Siouxsie and the Banshees and they had a pro-Israel song (and anti-Arab song).
It's show biz. They're all for show and not to be taken seriously.

Don't know if it's anything to do with an ex-grilfriend who was an absolute Smiths obsessive, owned every record they made except for "Barbarism Begins at Home" on 12". Kind of killed them for me a bit.
