The Steven Pienaar appreciation thread

still pissed off he didn't take the ball around the arsenal keeper and get him sent off in the 5th minuet. great performance today, but like chico said, it's not laughable to now say he shouldn't have been dropped/rested. hope he makes up for missing the last derby by turning up next week like he did today

Always massively rated Pienaar but he hasn't been great lately. Then again, he won us the game today so what can you say?

Pienaar has now scored 10 goals in 46 Premier League matches since returning to Everton. He had nine goals in his first 104 matches for the club.

All players have their off games, Pienaar has contributed massively over the course of the season with some important goals even though it may not seem like it due to some of his off days.

The criticism that he's got past few weeks have been very harsh indeed.

He's had an off season mate, that's my point.

By computer calculations, he is rated 7th in our squad this season.

Also, he created 57 chances (until 27/2), rated 10th in EPL

I prefer my own eyes to stats lid. I'm not from Kentucky.

Bumping this one.

This thread should've had more action this season, hope the pienaar of old returns, showed how good he can be today so really needs to work on maintaining form.
