The summer 14 other clubs transfers thread

SSN have tried to convince everyone all day about how Luke Shaw is the BEST LEFT BACK IN DE WERLD today with his transfer to United imminent.

Lallana to LFC is at an advanced stage apparently.
Selling 1 key player every Summer is manageable, but selling 3 key players in the same summer is something i cant see Southampton recovering from, regardless of the money they'll bring in for all three (£60m)

They'll bring in a load of young Dutch lads.

LOL. SHAW gone for 27million UPFRONT. rising to 31 based on appearances and shiz.
*burns money

United have spent £30 million on a left back, we have 2 left backs better than that £30 million player.

RS are spending £25 million on an attacking midfielder....we have a player better than that £25 million player.

Arsed really.

and be boss.

fair do's, if i was a saints fan, i'd be sad about the manager going, but i would struggle to be too upset with getting £55m for shaw and lallana, both easily replaceable and key areas strengthening.

£4m for lambert is a good deal as well if you look past the fact how key he was for them.

lovren will probably be going soon as well. it's sad, but not exactly detrimental for them imo

Shaw and Llanana are good players, well Llanana is, cant say I see the attraction in Shaw yet, but then ive hardly watched him play, both are overpriced, but what is overpriced these days? Transfer fees are all over the place, we thought we got a good deal for Jela and Victor, but then you consider the likes of Jake freaking Livermore going for 8m and you think DAYM.

Its natural that you look at the prices, but personally I think the vermin have got themselves a very talented player, hes 5 times the player that Sterling is and 50 times the player of Coutinho.
