I'm really not convinced Di Maria is the player United need.
Di Maria isn't the squad United need.

Good job the rest of the team are crap.
Seen him have some good games for Uruguay but the opposition defence have concentrated on Suarez & Forlan.i'm not a massive fan of cavani tbh.
he's good, but never seen him be great.
giroud always seems to score for arsenal and he's starting to get big goals for them, they really shouldn't be looking to get rid of him. they need a striker of course, but giroud is not the one to make way.
Not likely, their commercial income is staggering. The Mancs must be close to breaching FFP
Not likely, their commercial income is staggering.
Yes it'd be hilarious if they got caught out by ffp considering they were one of the main advocates for it. Still, their squad's problems can't be fixed by a couple of big money signings alone, they have serious issues. It sounds like van Gaal barely rates any of the players.Shame.

[The Mancs must be close to breaching FFP]
Probably not even close to breaching it. Their commercial income is huge and their still signing big deals. The recent kit deal will ensure they will probably still be able to carry on spending like this even without European Cup income for a few seasons. If they ever got bought out and had little/no debt to service their spending power would rival if not better the oil clubs. If UEFA fully apply the rules of FFP (can`t see it happening)the oil clubs will struggle to meet them.
