Villa sign Senderos.

Among the many head shaking decisions of the previous era was this donkey training at our club. My mate's a villa fan bet he's comatose and dribbling from the side of his gob at this news.

Poor Villa

Still amazes me. Thought he might go but always thought he'd prefer a chance at winning more stuff in Spain. By default is this new team that has Villa and maybe Lampard favourites for the title?

The club that brought in Jermaine Defoe and Michael Bradley last year is floundering in the middle of the table. Same with the one that has Thierry Henry, Tim Cahill, and Bradley Wright-Phillips.

So to answer your question, no, no they aren't.

Its unlikely a team with 1 player in the squad would be made favourites.

sunderland have bid approx £4m for ashley williams, would be a weird transfer, think he's been offered a new contract with swansea so you'd expect him to stay there unless the bigger clubs he believes are interested show an interest.

If Sunderland offer him a lot more money he may take it. He's only been a premier league footballer for 3 years of his career and he may want one last pay day. Then again he'd be better waiting for the contract to expire next year and netting a nice wedge.
