goos player tbh. bit of the distin's about him, he has the odd mad moment but overall is generally very solid, there aren't as many centre backs so comfortable on the ball in the prem that's for sure.

According to reports in Russia the Eagles are set to sign the former Everton midfielder for just over £1m from Spartak Moscow.

Bilyaletdinov was loaned out to Anzhi Makhachkala for the second half of the Russian league season after a dispute with Spartak's management.

The 29-year-old's representative Jamie Holsgrove told Sky Sports: "Diniyar is a proven player having played at the highest level throughout his career, together with a strong demand for an experienced left footer, a deal should be completed quickly.

"Spartak are willing to listen to offers for him and there is interest in England and elsewhere across Europe."

David Moyes signed the Russian for Everton in 2009 for £8.9m from Lokomotiv Moscow but he struggled to impress and justify the large outlay.

He was sold three years later by Moyes to Spartak for £5m but he now looks set to return to English football.

Bilyaletdinov was axed from Fabio Capello's Russia squad for the World Cup after being included in the preliminary squad of 30.

With multiple rumours of incoming signings at Stamford Bridge,Sky Bet have opened the betting on the future of Chelsea midfielder Ramires. Real Madrid are the 5/1 favourites ahead of Barcelona (8/1) and Juventus (12/1). Bet on Ramires' future here.

umm wha?

i like ramires, cracking player, but Real, Barca and Juve?

......I like him too, 9st but tough as old boots an engine like a train and a lot of ability. Not surprised some of the big boys are circling.

he's good but not even a regular in the chelsea team. i'm not sure a fabregas swap with ramires would be a great bit of business tbh. will he even start for brazil? fernandinho and pualinho to do a similar job, but then paulinho plays behind the striker for them

....suspect that Willian arrival has given Mourinho the hard working, talented midfielder so he might be willing to let Ramires go.

caulker 7/2 to join arsenal down from 8/1 (betting odds means very little imo), but that would be a pretty perfect fit i think. just what arsenal need, tall, strong, good in the air, great on the ball and most importantly a leader.

just what they need from a centre back you believe.

i'm intrigued who they'll buy this summer. if they can bring players like caulker, bender, draxler and benzema as reported, they're definitely genuine title contenders.

probably don't even need draxler with AOC, walcott, cazorla, ozil, padolski and ramsey who can play in those attacking positions.

i sincerely doubt they'll buy all those players listed btw, i suppose remy is more likely than benzema, but caulker, bender and remy would be brilliant strengthening imo. still need a RB though.

QPR allegedly want to offer Rio Ferdinand £80000 a week to come and play for them.
