yeah the heskey bit was popcorn, the rest are good strikers though going for free, we'll surely be in for 1 if not 2 this summer for straqu's replacement and possibly vic's placement. unless moyes has a u-turn on vellios, no need to have 4 strikers when we only play 1 up top imo, as long as it aint cahill

if he were allowed to leave on a free i'd jump at the chance to sign him, but they'd want around £12m for the lid and we can't afford him

Few people already mentioned this, but Caught Offside has now mentioned it too! I think Pienaar, Johnson and Naismith for the sale of Rodwell, Yobo and someone else, would be a pretty good deal - depending who the third person is.

Caught Offside said:
The full scale of the crisis engulfing the club was highlighted when Record Sport learned talisman Naismith could be the first of seven star players to be lured away for a knockdown price. Former Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic has urged Everton boss Davie Moyes to land Naismith for a £2m snip.
Moyes has already held discussions with Jelavic and former Rangers skipper Davie Weir about launching a raid on Rangers for the Scotland man when the transfer window opens for business on June 1.

And Jelavic – who has been a smash hit in the Premier League since swapping Govan for Goodison in January – has pleaded with Moyes to reunite him with his former strike partner who, as we revealed yesterday, is one of seven star names in Ally McCoist’s first-team squad available on the cheap.

I would 100% get Craig Gordon in. Brilliant keeper, actual competition for Howard, but incredibly injury prone.

Percentage: 45% chance of signing for us.

Can't believe Craig Gordon was third choice at Sunderland.

I actually dont want us to sign him because I love T How and Gordon might actually knock him off number 1. Is that bad?

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Incredible shot stopper, real command of his penalty area, good distribution, the only let down is injuries.

Worth a punt on a free.

He's Scottish, he's a Goalkeeper, what's Moyes not to like

If Sunderland payed 9 mill for him, i would say he was on a fair bit of weekly wedge, no doubt he would take less but im not sure our wage budget would stretch to basically two first choice keepers slugging it out mate!
