The Super Tim Cahill Thread.

Don't have time to read whole thread, but would love for this to be true, as Red Bulls are my MLS team. Was at the game vs Philly on Sat with the kids - would have loved to have seen him. MLS is a good move for him. The decreased competition will give his game a jolt, and as an Aussie, he should love NY. Also, I hate to say it, but his removal from Everton will help up as it will free up a spot for what are probably now at this point, better players (Naismith, Ossie, Barkley).

Haha i hope he signs too cos im going to New York in September with the missus so ill try and persuade her to go to a game and see Timmy!.

They'll love him over there, his style of play and never say die attitude and then the goal celebration he does, they'll go crazy for it over there!.

Apparently all money that we bring in for sales is going to Moyesy to spend this summer.

Hopefully we can shift out Yobo and buy Pienaar (Shorty says he's expected back tomorrow!) back and then get summat decent for Cahill which could possibly help us sign someone like Matty Phillips or Weiss or maybe towards a loan deal or cheap upfront deal for Castaignos?.

If we replace Heitinga, Cahill and Yobo with Castagwotsit, Weisssssss and Matty bloody Phillips we are finishing 14th.

can we wait with all these fuming comments please , half the people on here were saying he should be no where near the starting 11 and should have been sold years ago . you may have your wish . but i trust in moyes , i have never seen moyes so upbeat in a pre season and so relaxed usually its a frown and a downbeat body language . lets see what happens

I'm not surprised he's upbeat, he's getting another million quid on top of his £3.5M p.a. wages soon.

Naismith and Pienaar in followed by a couple of loans or a free

depends who the loans are , if they are better than what we have and can make an impact then good

And then what happens when the loan runs out and the leave because we cant afford the transfer fee so once again we sell a few players to get a few quid in which in turn turns an already depleted squad worse
