The two Americans

Were all those youngsters registered for Europe then. How many do we have to register? It seems like a large no. if you include all our injured pros aswell. Or is it me asking stupid questions:unsure:

Has anything been seen of the two American lads we signed in the summer? Have they been playing reserve football at all?

I saw Peterlin in pre-season and he was garbage if I'm being honest. These are players from the 4th tier of a sub-standard league, what were we expecting?

Why did Moeys sign him for a season? is he really that bad?

Peterlin's USL coach recommended him to Moyes. Moyes had Peterlin up there for a 10-day trial and was impressed enough with what he saw to sign him to a 1-year. FTR Peterlin did have offers from MLS clubs that he turned down to go to Everton. (y)

At least he has something to fall back on if he doesn't make the grade.

Truth.

I actually think Arnoux is the ticket for you guys. Peterlin has a steeper learning curve, although I think both are definitely good enough to play in a league "better" than the MLS. Peterlin could do well on a Champion's League team, or tier 2 side somewhere else in Europe.

I believe Arnoux could probably be a starter on a weaker Premiership team in the future, definitely a practice-squadder at the moment though. He's a guy I'd keep around, send to camps, and loan out to keep him fresh.... But I'd hold on to his rights. He's essentially a sniper.
