Did some good things like hiring a sports psychologist (at least he said he did).

His teams didn't embarrass themselves or the fans to the extent that Dyche has, but there weren't any highs either. The draw at Anfield with Klopp fuming over our pen was funny I'll admit.

Not sure if he was sacked due to actual foresight by the board or because it was an easy fan-pleasing move, but he did alright.

I've said this before, but I remember after one of our terrible games looking at the league table and seeing we had only played 33 games, felt like it would never end.

I suppose it was an interesting experiament in relativity, time really did seem to slow down under Sam's stewardship. That being said, hiring Sam to steady the ship then bringing in a more progressive manager like Silva is actually pretty slick ownership. Pity we were clearly still in basket case mode off the pitch.

He was terrible and better than this fella so what does that tell you.

Shameful to have these guys names in our history and shows you how far we descended. Not getting relegated is seen as an acceptable aim now and crap teams now look at us as being their easiest game. Even lower league teams think they have won the jackpot if they draw us.

Can't wait for the Friedkin wipe out and reset. Never been more ashamed to be an Evertonian as i have the last few years.

Stopped going to the match because of him and I wasn`t the only one.

He was like the @ForeverBlue92 of managers, as his only form of engagement seemed to be to come across as a massive try hard bellend and wind the fans up.
