I still have the same views to them now. As long as we avoid relegation or bankruptcy then these years of pain will have been worth it. Moshiri is about the only person who would have built a statement stadium on the Mersey.

Look down the league clubs and see which ones have a myriad of restricted views with stands that are nearly 100 and 90 years old. If Kenwright had stayed in charge or another buyer came in eventually we would have been pulled under and surpassed by all of the clubs we considered a level below us.

People might call me a 'seer', 'mystic' or whatever. That's nice, but I dont know about that.

I just studied the quality of players coming in and didn't get hoodwinked into being impressed by the cash paid for them. The posters who did that when Moshiri came in were like those South Sea Isanders handing Captain Cook their whole resources for a bag full of shiny nails.
