apologies to the great man, but \i am trying to make a serious point as well as provide some light relief after all this accusation, counter accusation, propaganda and war of words.

It comes down to money. Everton haven't had a pot to piss in for over twenty years (rooney money aside). So where we are meant to come up with a conservatively estimated £150 million (and I'm sure post bridge building and land acquisition it could be double that) from, to build a stadium in the middle of a roundabout that's too small to fit it?

for the record i voted yes (with lots of reservations)

what i really want now is that everyone gets behind the result (whatever the outcome) because this is what the majority of those eligble to vote have decided this is what they want for our club

1. we are the peoples club, thats why we were given a vote
2. we all want what is best for the club, continuing to argue will only divide us, maybe even split us
3. im so pissed off at people moaning just for the sake of moaning
4. kirkby/ goodison/ the loop/ walton hall park, etc i will be there watching the blues
5. proud to be blue
6. be [Poor language removed] glad when this is sorted
