We are well overdue a 3rd placed finished, but I'm more surprised we haven't finished 9th in 30 years. I thought we always finish 9th.

For him to leave so decisively indicates he had absolutely no faith in our planning or competence.

And as such neither do I.

Carlo's 'adiosing' us for sunnier Spanish climes has somewhat cat amongst the pigeoned my previous prediction. I expected 8th to 11th next season...but now I'm plumping for errr, ummm...7th to 12th
