It's right in the path of a storm travelling north east from Ireland to Scotland.

Maybe I should have clarified it and said 'apart from Ireland, Scotland, the Isle of Man, Isle of Arran, the Hebrides...

max Gust near me was 86mph today. Its dies down now to a mere Amber warning storm which feels like a gentle breeze compared to this mornings weather.

The final result from my back garden after yesterday's storm, 2 fence posts snapped, half of the roof of my pergola gone and heavy patio table lifted and smashed to smithereens.
Spent the day morning up the mess.
