The Weather Thread

Was it last year Texas was covered in snow or was it a few years back?

If Texas is regularly freezing then something is up with the weather pattern.

It gets this cold about once every few years. It bottomed out at 11 F this morning, which in normal circumstances is about as cold as it gets. February 2021, when it was below zero with snow on the ground, was a once in a lifetime event.

@wm02 where are you based again? Storms look wild. Some crazy pictures. Think @Huyton Layne is in Wisconsin, hope all American bases posters are ok.
I’m right outside of Washington, D.C. so just very cold the past several days but no snow. We’ve been tracking Buffalo though since we were planning to visit the in-laws in Canada this week

We were right on the edge. Couldn't tell you how much snow fell because the winds were insane, barely had to shovel the driveway because it blew so much. Temps were so low none of us left the house for 4 days.
