...funny that when bad weather hits the South East it becomes a major news story with wall to wall coverage. The media is so London centric, indeed London and all it contains is so London centric. I like visiting the place, though.

It's because people in London can't drive. On my drive to work I regularly get in traffic jams simply because we're approaching a hill and people don't know how to adjust their speed. Put a bit of rain or snow on the roads and it's a complete mess.

...nah, it's because it impacts the people involved in broadcasting the news. Understandable I suppose. If this weather only impacted the North West it wouldn't be the main story on Sky.

The Sky Scotland reporter alluded to it this morning, he said 'it's fine up here, everything is moving along but we usually get weather like this in January and are used to it'.

I know mate I was just using it as an opportunity to vent!

There is a large chunk of people around here that seem to think the world revolves around SE England.
