totally wrong - check your facts.
google qld drought map
most of QLD is in a drought, cattle dying, farmers in real trouble, convoys of feed being sent up from NSW & Vic.
hard times
Yes, I know. Wasn't talking about now, that's why I talked about 'three or four years'. Don't you remember the houses
floating away in the flood rapids?

Anyway, it was all meant in fun and when it comes to local rivalry I'd rather win the one either side of Stanley Park.

its chucking it down in east London has been all morning.

Trains were delayed due to the ridiculous amount of flooding in Lewisham.,.....

.....TV weather reporting is so London centric that we usually know what is going on down there. On Sky News today Eamon Holmes said it was absolutely bucketing down outside but it wasn't where I live, does he not know that not all viewers live in London.

Fair enough, most of the state and beyond has been in a drought for 3-4yrs, no half measures here flood or drought. hard times for many.

its understandable though mate as most people do live here. Was very surprised at the amount of rain.

I smiled when I saw the Spurs - S'ton match pulled up for a drinks break on Sunday because the temperature in the sun, not the
shade, had reached 30c.
I know that is still pretty hot, especially if it's humid, but people in many parts of the world would be amused.

Incidentally, I was walking up Oxford St with a mate from Wagga years ago and it was 34c. He gasped and said it was the hottest
he'd ever been in his life.
