Ford Estate

Grew up on the Ford during the 70's & 80's. Some, well a few nice people lived there, but 7th & 8th Ave's were just absolute no go zones.

Used to live above the shops on the precinct, and there were some very entertaining, and sometimes disturbing sights of a night time.

Lived on the Ford for abar a year, in 1 of them grim maisonettes, wasnt that bad yano, had a smackhead who lived underneath, he used to play his music loud day and night, the whole block used to fume at him, in the end, 1 of the other lids who lived there threw his Hi-Fi through the window and him after it, when he got out of hossy, he surprisingly stopped playing his music loud.

Good times.

Three towns in Wirral are ranked in the top 10 most desirable places to live in England, a new study reveals.

Bebington CH63 is ranked as the most desirable postcode in England, with Eastham CH62 ranked as the eighth and Wallasey CH45 as ninth, according to the Royal Mail.

Warrington WA1 was ranked as the seventh most desirable postcode.

The report commissioned showed that residents in Bebington enjoyed the ideal balance of being able to live close to their place of employment, good schools and high employment.

The north dominates the south in the study, with Ipswich in Suffolk being the only southern town to appear in the ranking.

To be fair, I'd love to live on The Wirral

Easier to get to matches and I'd go watch Tranmere when Everton were away

Some day, some day

To put things into even more perspective Barrow-in-Furness & Dalton-in-Furness got onto this list.

Having been brought up round those parts I can honestly say that the whole list must be just a big joke.
