Goldie Lookin Chain for the win
Hahaha, I've got a soft spot for the 'chain, the utter goons. Had a tremendous session at the Ashton Court Festival back in 2004 and they headlined one of the stages.

There's something quite weirdly endearing about a field full of people off their noggins chanting "that's right, your mother's got a penis".

Pfft, I've always had a squishy part for Pete Doherty, through The Libertines and Babyshambles I was stood front line and centre.

Unfortunately that area of the crowd at a festival featuring my favourite scag head usually resulted in piss bombs and the ever-lasting memory of my mate turning round and seeing a Carling themed recycleable cup full of piss pegging it's way towards him and giving him enough time to just say "Oh no" before it caught him square in the chest.

That's a connection you just can't buy.

Standout moment for me was their dedication of "Your missus is a nutter" to David Beckham before the 2005 Wales v. England match in Cardiff.

Yes, that was amusing. Particularly because of the reaction.

I don't know if you kept up with any of their later work, but they penned a tribute to Tony Pulis when he managed Stoke. So brilliantly awful, as is their shtick.
