Not that I want to poop on your parade but....Sandro scores 17 last season and Klaassen got 18.

Stats innit.
Stats indeed. The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

With that said Sandro and Klaassen weren't proven PL players, and there was always going to be a learning curve there. I think a good 70% of Theo's value will be in his league experience which is a shocking 10 years.

(God, could you imagine 10 years at the Emirates as a fringe player?)

Just don’t get it,
Hope the lad does well and he’s a lot better than what we’ve got,but unless there’s a fundamental change in formation, tactics and personnel,he’s not going to get a kick.
He will if we play him out of position, probably as a CF. Sake.

Props to Steve Walsh for unearthing this gem.

Cannot believe people are trying to convince themselves that this is a good signing. We aren’t going to crack the top 6 by signing their cast-offs.

Still massively underwhelmed. We lack character in our dressing room, so who do we sign? The son-in-law-iest player of the team of son-in-laws. Is there anyone left with any fight? Damn it can't we just sign a few of the Cahill, Ferguson, Gravesen ilk? Including a left back!

Edit - even Johnny Heitinga had more fight in him than any of our current first team

What's Pat Van Den Hauwe doing these days?

Correct, but right now we're a long way off the top 6. We need to improve the team first, which Walcott will.

Exactly the type of player we need, imho. We are Everton, if we just showed a bit of fight everything in the garden would look a lot rosier. Shouldn't Walsh be all over this after the result at Tottenham?! Walcott signing is just exacerbating the problem that Big Sam went nuts about Saturday night.
