There is a lot of data on peak age for players.

Wide players and attackers peak at 25.

Massive and sudden drop off by 30.

Of course that doesn't mean Walcott will. However I can't think of any 30 year old players who are completely reliant on pace who are still at the top of their game. Super skilled players like Ronaldo, Giggs adapted to their pace going but I don't think anyone would say Walcott was a great footballer.
