With respect if they’re not getting played they can’t score.

Where do you see WALCOTT coming in and who for?

Lennon, DCL, Niasse, Bolasie. He’d be getting on the pitch before any of these for me. Still plenty of opportunity for Lookman too.

I'm sure and I do think that a section of this forum posters are not genuine supporters of the club I love!!!!

To reiterate, and recap my previous posts on this, if you are serious about not wanting Walcott based on where we currently and honestly sit.......you are deluded! The hope of is realistically attracting a better calibre of player, and one quite honestly, who still has a desire to fulfill, ( based on the view about his ,'unfulfilled potential') at the very least!! Speed, power, aggression and goals.
Oh yeah I forgot, we've got loads of that.

Make this happen Everton.!!! Anyone who doesn't want Walcott is either deluded or a real fair weather fan! Support your club realistically or do one because it makes no sense to say no to this.

It's called having an 'opinion' just because someone doesn't agree with you're take on things doesn't mean they're deluded, or a 'fair weather fan' they just see things differently to you, it is allowed like.

I see Gylfi playing centrally. Bolasie and Walcott wide. Tosun up front.

Rooney rotated and played in midfield.

Walcott guarantees double figures every year. That's productivity and the only productivity that really counts

I politely disagree. Under this manager I don’t see him getting that many. No idea how to set up an attacking unit and our centre midfield isn’t good enough to retain the ball.

I have my doubts as to him dropping Rooney too.

Why’s that then?? Only ever hit double figures twice in the PL so he’s not a constant threat, was known for his pace which is now questionable and he has always struggled with his technique.

Because if any of the above wasn’t true he’d be starting for Arsenal. So you’re happy with us over paying for players not deemed good enough by the better teams

We’ll progress with that approach

Not a player I'd choose, though we are lacking in the qualities he has. Can't be any worse than what we have, if he has something to prove it might pay off.

My apologies if it it was taken that way, I appreciate everyone's opinion, and that's the major reason Inn here a lot.
My post was just my opinion and in my own view its a very valid one.

How can we be overpaying in today's market for a 18 year old that STILL has tremendous pace, scores goals, is aggressive a d, in my view, has a
Still a lot to prove and desire?
Tell me who else we could get better for £20 mill (which I know is ludicrous, but not in the current t market, in January when we need it so much right now!).

Considering he’s none of what you said, I’d say a sprinter from a local athletics team because he’d probably have more technique than wankcott

I think your being a bit over the top here.

I can see the benefits of him signing, however when we have two young wingers sitting on the bench, both of whom offer 'speed, aggression and goals' but arent getting played, then it begins to piss me off why hes being brought in. Who do you realistically see him coming in for?

Bolasie? He offers all those you refer to above.
Siggy? Would Sam really suddenly start playing two out and out wingers?
Tosun? New signing.
Rooney? Would Sam drop his captain?

It annoys me how were focusing our attentions on him when we have a left back issue. I think fans are right to be annoyed and see this deal with disdain when we seemingly have a huge glaring omission at full back and all those skills referred to above, as well as Sam in 'pace, goals, movement' etc are seemingly in two of our young players bought for close to 20m in combined fees.

Can Walcott really offer loads more than Lookman? If he can, where does he play? I can only see him coming in for Bolasie and based on that, the transfer in my eyes is pointless as Bolasie offers everything that Walcott is supposed to be brought in for.
I'm not saying we don't need a left back, god do we! But we need pace and experience too.

Our younf wingers are great I mean that and right behind them as I will always be with our kids. But seriously, this guy can play, score goals and add tremendous pace too out attack. At the very least that takes pressure off our defence and offers a goal threat right here and now yes?
Respect your and everyones opinion but we have to keep it real and real right here and now where we are.

Have a little think about Theo, what’s he known for? Is it pace? Yes. Do we have any? No. Not a single fast player - arguably Bolaise, but he actually has lazzy legs and is unable to control a ball. We have zero striking options aside from Turkish who can’t be expected to simply magic a goal out of his arse.

I think he would be a puzzling signing for us in our current predicament and unlikely to spark us into life, has he ever been part of a battling team? Not likely, will he be interested in our potential? Not at all.

Strange opportunity for both of us.

Fair enough and apologize for the age error in my reply lol. If you seriously feel that a sprinter, 'from a local athletic team could be better's, well I can't even provide a serious reply to that.
