I like him, but it hasn't worked out and I can't help thinking that Lookman wouldn't also be off if he hadn't been stuck behind Theo in the pecking order for so long

As the Spurs fans have always said, he's a less good Aaron Lennon (Who I wish we'd never sold personally)
Why? he's rubbish as well

hence why he plays for burnley who are terrible
Aaron Lennon at least contributed to the team. Walcott doesn’t have that currently.

What Groucho said

Aaron always worked hard for the team and he'd excel in the current system Silva has with the likes of Digne and Coleman going up the pitch

He was also far better than people gave him credit for. A proper workhorse with pace and a good finish on him as well. Only issue was his crossing, which he wouldn't be doing that much in the current system anyway as he'd just be dropping back and letting the wing back cross whilst he covered the defensive end of things

We didn't even want to sell him, we just couldn't offer him enough minutes so he moved on. Had the club had it's way he never would have left

I always thought he was a decent signing and would at least be a good squad player. Unfortunately he really doesn't seem to have delivered despite flashes of what I thought he could do.

So I think taking his wages into account we should move him on for what he brings to the team. There are far cheaper options out there that could do the same.

I predicted this would happen when he was signed but i thought he would at least give us this season before dropping off...

Hopeless player and i wonder who signs him?

good finish on him? hes scored abar 7 goals in 4 years, averages 1 goal every 13 games over his career which is terrible for a winger

he was fast and worked hard, that's where we draw the line

Since when did Lennon have a good finish on him? Fact you say he couldn’t cross despite being a winger is a clue to how bad he was.
