People forget footballers aren’t machines, they’ve been put back into regular training after been off the field for 12/13 weeks so one or two flare ups will happen. Massive opportunity for the younger players to impress, particularly Anthony Gordon

Which first teamers have our next opponents had ruled out

We wont miss him if you want to be brutally honest. Does an occassional good thing but mostly not in the game and doesn't do much when he is.

Oh we will. His pace gives opponents something to think about. Regardless of how crap his final ball etc is the opponents has always got to plan for him which pushes them back a bit more and enables us to counter attack.

When he is not there there opponent just ploughs down our right side over and over again and we have no out ball to speak of.

His lack of brains on how to use that pace makes it redudant for me though unfortunately. To be fair to him he does give some protection to the right back, but he offers little else.

Who knows, maybe Gordon will get some good gametime now and settle into premier league football.

It's more the type of player he is that's important rather than Walcott himself if that makes sense?

Yeah would be nice to see Gordon and a few of the fringe players (NOT YOU MORGAN) getting a run out when the pressure is somewhat off. Not a great deal to play for, no crowds etc, perfect time for them to come in I reckon.

A player getting injured is never a good thing. Injuries certainly seems to be an issue for us. Any player can get injured during a game but getting three players(so far) injured during training(at least two during non contact training ) is worrying.

I would like to see Kean getting a run in the Walcott position, I think he could be successful there. The only question mark may be his defensive work.
