He's playing well at Southampton and he scored a hat trick for England. Underated here imo.

That hat trick was 12 years ago. He was mostly poor for us, and played ahead of Lookman, who could have achieved far more. Over not underrated and costly!

Lookman clearly has more skill and a better football brain than Theo ever had! He may well achieve less in his career, but only one of them could be any good, and it’s not Theo.
I think it's quite a poor look from Walcott how he performed here, goes somewhere else and mentions just how much "fun" he's having elsewhere. We paid a pretty large fee and gave him a lot of money to perform and he did not deliver at all.

I often wonder about these types of loan, the loaning club should put a break clause in for 1 Jan. If the player is doing well then activate it, bring him back and say to Saints e.g. 5 mil for perm in Jan, or lose what is now a key player in their season until summer.
I know its not that simple but we are 20m down and have no influence any more for a player we still own who is helping place a rival in our way to a euro finish.

Depends if it was a clause in our loan agreement like City did with Barry. If we didn't include one, which I very much doubt, then he will be a free agent I think.
