My hatred towards car insurance has been well documented, I mean £231 a month for third party for a £500 pound car...

Anyway, a few months later into that pay monthly insurance I got a few more competitive quotes - currently £161 a month with directline. Coming up to renewal, I got quoted £120 a month. Wasn't happy, I had served my time as a new driver. Gits.

So I put the exact same details on to the direct line website, and was quoted £80 a month. Whats that all about?

Christ 231/mo???? I just bought an Astra and pay $750/yr. If you car is only worth 500quid can't you just get liability?

danny, if you want cheap car insurance, go to new zealand.

you dont have to have it (or didnt when i was there)
i paid fully comp on my skyline about £100, injury claims dont come from your insyurance but from a.c.c. or somethin' that covers all injuries, sport, work, tripping up etc. you couldnt sue a person for injuries. i paid £1300 third party when i got it over here, had to be paid upfront too.

petrol costs buttons was about 30p when we were there $1, there was almost civil unrest when it neary hit the dollar mark as usually it was about 80cents a litre ($3 to the pound at the time).
