Been through 4 big water butts (those rain things) just for the veg patch. Up to 29 now b)

Forcast for next week is 18 degrees, though. :(

Iwas on my way to work at 7.30 this morning and it was 26º already. must have been up to 30 something by midday. I like the heat but it's a bitch to work in.

Just sat in the Garden having a nice little curry. Nice little breeze..first one I've felt in a good few days!

Its strange how 26 here is just the most bestest weather, but you guys are like 'omg theres salty water coming out of my skin, Im dying'.

Its 14 here and rather chilly. Chilly but fresh.

We're not used to this kind of humidity. Don't mind heat.

It's cooler tonight though. Much more manageable.

Dunno don't have a scientific heat measuring device in my dormroom.

Sweltering. Last night at any rate.

As I said, comfortable now.

Well i took me like 10 seconds to find out for you.

Its between 44% and 90%.

ok, im guessing its more prevalent here to know the humidity reading.

By defenition....
The relative humidity is a measure of the amount of water vapor in the air (at a specific temperature) compared to the maximum amount of water vapor air could hold at that temperature, and is given as a percentage value. Relative humidity depends on the temperature of the air, as warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. A relative humidity of 100 percent indicates that the air is holding all the water it can at the current temperature, and any additional moisture at that point will result in condensation. A relative humidity of 50 percent means the air is holding half the amount of moisture that it could. As the temperature decreases, the amount of moisture int he air doesn't change, but the relative humidity goes up (since the maximum amount of moisture that cooler air can hold is smaller). When referring to pet care, the terms humidity and relative humidiy are usually used interchangably. For an example, if we say the appropriate humidity for hermit crabs is 70-80 percent, we are speaking of the relative humidity.
To determine the relative humidity in the air, for example in a terrarium, you need to use a device called a hygrometer.

hope that helps

it kind of means the uncomfortabilty in general terms.

You're sure it was a moth? Could've been a bat for all you know.

Regarding the heat, experiencing the same over here. It's simply unbearable at times. Last night it was the worst of all. definately agree with you on winter. In fact, I think I gonna give you some pos rep for bringing me a cooling thought these days.(y)

i read somewhere that a lot of our bats are tiny and get mistaken for moths in dim light.

Finally a bit of rain!!!!

Other notable strange behaviour last night: My hay fever was going wild at about half 12 last night!!

pollen is released at night.

i think this weather is great, loved the scorchers and didnt mind the rain today, (at least there wasnt howling wind), it was almost like a monsoon arriving, i like the clear days though which is unfortunate in the n/west of England as its nearly always cloudy (an issue i have already blamed on the welsh with their cloud forming high ground).

Ahh that explains it (y)

It's unbearable. Can't sleep, and it's just attracting every 'kin spider an insect to my room! I WANT WINTER!  Really though..

The heat is well bosser than the cold. I am writing this from a rather nice beach like. Theres a nice single mum in a pink bikini nearby, I'd like to touch her where she wees.
