Oooof! That looks like a party divided against itself from the off. Rogan Taylor and his gang of businessmen and luvvies: I wonder how they'll feel when the SOS lot start burning Stars and Stripes and making death threats against people?

As far as the scheme goes: Everton fans tried this with the Black Watch scheme a while back and got precisely nowhere with it. And that was in a period of relative boom. This lot have got no chance of hitting 50,000 people for what...£800 each? Even if they did they'd be able to buy (at best) 10% of a club usually valued at circa £400M. That's not much bang for your buck.

What they are at base is a gang of self important uber fans. Rogan Taylor gets his publicity fix; the SOS lot get the thrill of feeling they're making an impact. And the institutional owners are pissing themselves laughing.

That's what all this is about, all these absolute whoppers trying to out whopper themselves. The entire club is infested with them.

They go home of a night and cry into their pillows, not one erection between them.
 
I could think of nothing better than for Liverpool FC to be run by 1000s of their emotionally unstable fans.

The committee lodging protests with Uefa whenever a corner kick was given to the opposition; newspapers banned from Anfield for mild criticism of the latest manager-God; huge banners hanging from every stand blotting out the sun and view of the pitch - anyone complaining being 'one of dem Yanks'; Gerry Marsden and Cilla made life presidents; that plaque to Heysel at the ground covered with brown paper (all 2 square inches of it); winning the CL and PL double...but still marching around Liverpool complaining about being robbed of the LC and demanding it be handed over......
