You can see from my profile pic how fond I am of this nutcase, especially his mad eyed goal celebrations - Grav always worked hard, I don't remember him hiding during the match and he always tried to pass forward, and affect the game positively - boss interview and you can see that he still loves Everton.

Was our best player in the 04/05 season before going to Real. Superb player, shame he never got to play for us in the Champions League.

Him and Carsley m8, It was beautiful to watch at times. They weren't the most gifted players but they gave it there all every match.

You knew within the first five minutes what sort if game he was going to have.

If all his passes went astray you may as well have taken him off there and then, as it was nailed on that would be the pattern for the rest of the game.

If all his passes found the man, you could almost guarantee that he`d be great all game.

It`s a shame, as there doesn`t really seem to be any characters around in the game anymore.

Think it was Moyes getting the right players around him to get the best out of him tbh, Carsley to do the dirty work, Cahill for someone to play off, Bent to make runs.

He was my favourite player in the 2 seasons I watched us. I was gutted when we sold him to Madrid. Hopefully we no longer sell our best players, and eventually we will become a top team again. If we don’t keep the best we have, it’s really hard to become successful.

And sadly if we don't sell our best players we cant buy better 1s.

Liverpool sold Coutinho and used the money to buy a player that won them the league.
