mcb, you should be able to get a good picture of the fruitbats at dusk, there used to be thousands flew directly over the place we lived in hughes st.(nextdoor to the wayside chapel & backing on to that old theatre).

They live over in the Botanical Garden, but I think they are moving them somewhere. Too much guano on the Tourists.

but surely they will just fly back, it was an impressive sight seeing them all depart every evening.

somewhere else close by to you was a cafe called williams on williams,great for breakfast, just along from that irish pub...o'malleys ?

They are taking the trees out I think, putting them somewhere else. Not sure about the cafe but O'malleys is up the cross.
