We have more league titles though. Most of Villas trophies were won in the pre world war one era. Both clubs though are massive underachieving and sleeping giants.
Would put Everton and Villa in that next tier after the big clubs

Let's do a count then. Everton 9 League Titles, 1 Second Division Championship, 5 FA Cups, 1 European Cup Winners Cup, and 8 Charity Shields plus one shared Charity Shield. So that gives Everton a grand total of 24 and a half trophies.
Villa have 7 League Titles, 2 Second Division Championships, 1 Third Division Championship, 7 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, 1 Charity Shield, 1 European Cup and 1 European Super Cup. So that gives Villa a grand total of 25 trophies. It's a close one but yes Villa just about edge it by a hairs breath.
