Threat to Board members safety means they wont attend southampton game

This statement is nothing more than an attempt to drive a wedge between fans and damage the legitimacy of the protest planned for this afternoon. The club have also released this knowing the huge damage it could do to the reputation of our fans and club, all in a selfish attempt to retain their jobs and keep the money flowing into their back pockets as they destroy our club.

The lads who do the security in the box, are all high end security too, not some sted head, who`s been given a ton, to stand their and look hard, to frighten people off.

No one`s getting near them in the Directors Box, verbal abuse highly likely, but no one is getting near them, in the ground, on the way or on the way out.
If it's a real and credible threat, you've got a fair number of cops present, including the Chief Super being able to call in the OSU, so it reeks of being yellow bellies.

Unreal this. Classic kenwright. Everybody just be peaceful if you are staying in your seat after the match. Show this up for exactly what it is. A smear campaign against the clubs supporters. The same supporters who's total support kept the club in the league last season. Who's support was praised and made the news around the footballing world. I think it shows the true size of the man our chairman is. Disgraceful.

If there are credible threats then its very brave of the board to not attend considering the criticism they will and have received for making that decision.

Very sad day to be a blue.

It’s a real lie point for the club in many ways. If true, which is possible, then these directors are just people with families. No one should be threatened. But to get to this point during such a precarious point in the season is extremely damaging to our status in the top flight, and as a club. Totally irresponsible from many individuals and groups, and I include the board.

The next statement will be that Lampard and the team won't be turning up as they are worried about the fans reaction to them.

Unbelievable.

Difficult to see how Moshiri could make this mess worse and he's done it twice in 1 week.

Some journos need to grow some and challenge these buffoons
