even hotels are taking the micky by the look of it, saw one on ebay in ashton undet lynne for £500, for a travellodge. if you need hotels then there are a couple where i live in lowton, its on the a580 and 15 miles from manc. also there are 2 next to haydock park racecourse, all are close to newton-le-willows where a train takes you to manc in about 15 mins.
just an idea guys if you are looking for hotels as i doubt if they are inflating their prices,

Thanks very much for the advice mate. The rangers support have booked out all the hotels in most of the near by cities. I know a few guys staying as far away as Wigan.

I'm only going Wednesday morning coming back that night ( If the result doesn't go to plan ) If we win a hotel will be the last thing on my mind

sporting lodge greyhound, on a580 straight into manc 01942 671256
thistle hotel, next to haydock park 01942 272000 1 mile from train
holiday inn, " " " " 0870 400 9039 " " "

basically if you search using 01942 and 01925 codes or wa (warrington) or wn (wigan) you'll save a bit of wedge compared to the ones in manc who it seems can see the £ signs. if any of you book any of these let us know and i may have a ride in with ya's, i'll even dig out my old rangers tartan shorts for the event, dont be bringing me no skirts down though (unless its donna karren and very short)
and hopefully you'll be rounding your night off with View attachment 978

Sorry I cancelled mine now, to be honest I didnt think it would be possible to sell on. They scared me out of it by saying ID will be required as every ticket will have the purchasers details

You have nearly reduced me to tears

It is really killing me after paying about £1500 to go to Lisbon and Florence that I'm not going to witness the biggest game in my life time

Saying that though I got an Aberdeen ticket ! and the league is still the priority !

question is though do i go for the whisky or the vodka ?
meither when there's boddingtons on offer, or try holts, cheap and strong, but then by about 10 am it wont really matter as long as its wet
you'll get a good feed down here too .....pasties on every corner,and none of them deepfried so by coming down you'll increase your life expectancy too

Well I have a bottle of vodka for the Joureny down so the chances are all food will taste as if Gordon Ramsay himself cooked it .

Can't beat some deepfried black pudding though

Rumours going about the complete stone roses could be playing in Albert square. ( Where the fanzone is situated I think ) before the match. That would be amazing !

Well folks I will be heading down on tues looks like without ticket as been priced out of it at every turn , my last hope this morning wanted £1800 for two tickets so that was that

cheers ricardo, hope you lads make arshavin look sh1te so we can maybe get a bargain this summer, hope you stick it up 'em. if you see any everton shirts in manc then give us a shout, it'll likely be me as i'm bold as brass that way and couldnt give a stuff about the mancs or what they think, stay lucky and have a blast.
