Whilst i do genuinely dislike it as a piece of music, it's safe to say my views on it would be different if I had been attending matches for many years and had countless memories associated with it. The only time I ever see Everton play is when they are in London, not been to Goodison since early 2000s so my entire experience of it is hearing it on TV where it doesn't hold up very well imo.
