Play 1 week in 3 (or 2 in first 3 weeks) to be Ranked

Ranking is made up of 5 equal criteria - the better you are the higher your overall Ranking will be (the number next to the position you occupy)

These criteria are:

1. Average points
2. Field Position (average of where you finish in the field
3. Correct Scores (percentage of)
4. Correct Results (percentage of)
5. Everton Result only (points scored divided by maximum possible)

Bonus Points

1. Top 3 in any week get 3-2-1 respectively (and ties)
2. 1 point for each week played

The leader Forever Blue has a ranking of 964 which is made up of:

1000 - (2+1+18.5+7+12) which equals 959.5 plus 3 points for playing 3 times and 1 bonus point for finishing 3rd on one week - total 963.5 rounded to 964. 18.5 represents a tie (18th= or 17th==== for example).

I use 1000 so that everyone has a positive value and the highest ranked person has the highest number next to their name!!

Those at the top are generally the most consistent - you could make a case for some double counting but then again you can have a good week and have no 3 pointers or get the Everton score spot on and otherwise have a lousy week.

Ok, I have accumulated 30 points total. Does the average mean 10 points per week, or do I need to break it down to per game?

An average position of 20th (14th, 41st, 3rd)

10% of my predictions have been exact

50% of my predictions have obtained a result

And 2 of my 3 Everton predictions have the correct result.

3 weeks played, 3 points bonus? 1 third pace finish so an extra point to make 4, right?

So how does all of that add up? Still confused here. Did I get my criteria right.

I really hope you have a program to do his for you, otherwise WOW! You are a machine!

10% of my predictions have been exact - Yes 29th= best (3 out of 30 exact, correct)

50% of my predictions have obtained a result - correct, 9th= with 4 others, so effectively 11th best

And 2 of my 3 Everton predictions have the correct result. - Yes 3/9 pts 12th best (only one person got yesterday's right (and got 3 pts as well)

3 weeks played, 3 points bonus? Yes

1 third pace finish so an extra point to make 4, right? Yes

So how does all of that add up? Still confused here. Did I get my criteria right. Yes, but you can't use your average position in this way as others will have been better or worse on any given week

Answers above - I use an Excel programme.

So, in your case 1000 - (14+9+29.5+11+12) = 924.5 + 4 = 928.5 rounding so 929. I will show the various Ranking criteria now and then (usually top 10s) but it's a long list to bore people with week after week!

After Week 4 - Forever Blue consolidates his lead at the top (with an improved ranking). Big positive moves come from Dark Knight (up 22 places to 4th), Rotts (up 18 places to 5th) and Reigning Champ Roni, up 12 places into 6th!
