So, apologies an error on my part. It's important to note the effect of the Bonus Point on any outcome. If your opponent has the same predicted score then clearly the only issue is the possibility of Bonus Point(s). To some extent the same applies if the opponent predicts the same result (ie City to win)

The most that can be earned in any one game is 3pts (plus potentially 1 pt for a Bonus (6th or 8th correct result for the set of 10) and then also perhaps 2 pts for the correct scorer.

I don't mind my mistakes being pointed out - what actually happens is I am trying to rush something out before late Saturday night so there's always the chance of a mistake then.

If some have gained points from Azzbot, then surely 'all' would have to gain points from Azzbot or it would be a bit of an unfair advantage for those that have.
If you were to add more, it would make sense simply to add another player and give them an average score etc.

1 extra point for 6 correct, 1 further extra point for 8 correct.

As far as letting EvertonianStu play - sure if he wants to - I did suggest it to him. I would offer him 1 pt per game and an even PD and remove Azzbot for the rest of the season. This is the problem with non-participants. I even offered to fill in myself but frankly as has been suggested (just now) it's a bit harsh on someone who doesn't benefit from a walkover when someone else has. I suppose it's just one of those things - it's a bit of fun and I try to be even handed over these things - as well as late scores/missing scores etc. etc. and I hope people feel that I am being as fair as I can be.

So if Stu wants to play - all he has to do is say he's committed to doing so. (y)

As for walkovers / not , get him in !!! Or you do it . It's still uny early , surely no-one will whinge ???
And Stu defo asked , but I don't know how much he comes around , so you may be the better bet .

Dan, with respect, why do you insist on one point per game m8?
In any other competition, an average score would be offered, giving the newcomer a score of about 16, which gives them a chance.
Starting them 15 points behind the leader on 11 is a bit harsh in my opinion, and gives them little chance of ever catching RT.
Just my thoughts. :)
