Seconded.I hope they get found but the amount of news coverage this is getting compared to the migrant boat sinking is off the scale.

Would be embarrassing for them if the sub they sent down finds them alive and well, but they were all bumming each other senseless because they thought they were going to die down there.Poor people die = who cares
Billionaire in danger = Number one story and lets throw every resource available to save him

Do you mean the smell of the seamen, or "the smell of the seamen"?The smell on it must be horrendous now.

I'm guessing that if comms stopped abruptly, with no time to shout a mayday, their sub imploded at depth and they were crushed instantly.
Having said that, if there were a comms system it would have to be via umbilical wire as radio waves don't penetrate the ocean, so maybe the umbilical parted and comms was lost that way. They could he bobbing around at the surface hoping to be found. I wonder if they can even open the hatch from inside.
If it is underwater, it won't make much difference.Apparently the bolts shutting the door are screwed down from the outside. No release mechanism from inside…..

Doesn't that only work when they're on the surface? It uses Starlink for comms, so unless that's down then it doesn't look good...
