I'd always hesitate to predict a City win at Anfield. They just dont do it too often.

I actually think even another draw will really put the skids under Liverpool. They had a series of draws in the league a few seasons back and hardly lost and it destroyed their confidence to be title contenders.

I would take a draw now between them. There record is poor there but it used to be poor at ours them days are long gone. Last season was perhaps what they needed to get the monkey off their back.

RS won City lost. Both were away at full strength and have 5 days to recover. The quality of opposition was different. If City want to freshen up they can. Liverpool need to play that team again to have a chance. If TAA comes back it actually weakens them defensively.

I still think that buying Grealish will be seen as one of the most calamitous acts of self harm by any club in world football. An incredible waste of cash.

They needed a midfielder just not necessarily at that price. There priorities should have been in this order.
1. Striker Kane or Haaland
2. Left Back
3. Attacking Midfielder
Still think their team and squad are both the best. Just needs to start Jesus in more games. He is the only player who I would say is a definite striker by trade. Not of the Kane level but at he should still score 20 in that team playing through the middle.

Would be great if City could just school this lot again. One of those games that City normally reserve for us where everything Mahrez and Jesus hit just flies in the top corner. City’s first four away games have been Spurs Leicester Chelsea Liverpool. If they’re still level or ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea by the end of the weekend then they’re in a very strong position.

Chelsea really need a plan B, read today they have been behind 8 times since Tuchel took over and only taken 1 point out of 24.

Playing 5 at the back with 2 defensive midfielders and you can see why they struggle offensively when chasing a game, puts pressure on the them to score first with such a defensive setup.

I quite like the idea of them being schooled but I also wouldn't mind them losing a narrow game because of individual errors.

Nah they’d just moan about it in the media for about a year. They’re still going on about Mane’s red card and how they were bossing City that time despite already being 1 down on the way to a 5-0 loss. I’d rather they just took a right good beating to be honest. Chelsea should have handed it to them if it wasn’t for that ridiculous red card incident. Too many teams let them off the hook when they could put a marker on them.
